Description: Naval officers wait on the ship's quarterdeck for the launch carrying the delegates to arrive. They come up the ladder and are greeted by the naval and liaison officers, wandering about aimlessly and talking with each other. In the background Lieutenant Ernest Brooks, the official still photographer (without his camera) can be seen talking to a naval officer. After a while the delegates file back down the ladder and motor launch ML.324 takes them away from the ship's side.
A delegation of American politicians arrives on board HMS Queen Elizabeth at anchor in the Firth of Forth, March-May 1918.
